Monthly Shoot December 2025

Here we are at the end of another year. Our match this past Sunday the 14th was quite different from years past, temperatures in the 40’s with a little rain and then slight clearing. I don’t think I have ever seen the river higher this time of year, it’s almost like its March going into April.
We had an interesting match as it was our annual blanket shoot and thanks to Arch Averson we actually had the gifts lain out on an official Hudson Bay Blanket. Rick Thomas ran the match with the assistance of a few of us to put together targets and get things done in an orderly fashion. Rick provided an excellent lunch and as one of the chow hounds I can attest to everything Rick cooked up for us being first rate.
We will begin shooting our next match in 2026 on January 11th, hope to see you there.
