Indoor Range Reopening October 1
Spokane Rifle Club is excited to announce the reopening of our indoor range beginning October 1st.
- Tuesday evenings are reserved for the Spokane Rifle Club Junior practice evenings
- Thursday evenings, while usually populated by the Juniors, is open to all for small bore (.22 Rimfire only)
- Non-Members are welcomed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a $20 donation
- The normal $5 fee for members is currently waived
- Members may bring a guest per usual rules
- Firearms must be .45 ACP and smaller calibers. If you must shoot your .44, use .44 special
- NO 5.7×28 or steel-cased ammo as what appears to be a copper bullet can sometimes be a copper-washed steel one and that causes excess wear on our backstop and a ricochet hazard
- Please check the range calendar for the most updated schedule information.
- The Shotgun area and North Range remain closed. These areas are fenced off and anyone caught there will have their membership terminated.
- As always, please listen to the RSO on duty. Their decisions regarding range operations and safety are final.
Be aware, the target retrieval system is aging, and we are looking into upgrading. In the meantime, BE EASY on running the carriers in and out (i.e. NO letting them slam at either end).
Lastly, we are still working on restoring water to the Indoor Range. There is a Sani-Can available. Please be courteous to the next user of the Sani-Can and keep the lid closed.
*NOT ALL AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED*
Not every brand of steel core ammunition is allowed to be fired at the indoor range as it is harmful to our backstop. Please check your ammo with a magnet to make sure, as some ammo appears to have copper or brass projectiles when in reality it is plated steel.
