It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of longtime Spokane Rifle Club member Dave Valandra. Survived by his wife Karen, Mr. Valandra passed away this week in Arizona.
Shotgun Dave was a life member of SRC and served faithfully on the Board of Trustees as chairman of the Shotgun Division until two years ago when he relocated to Arizona.
Spokane Rifle Club, and particularly the shotgun division, will continue to thrive for decades to come thanks to Mr. Valandra’s excellent servant-leadership. Thank you, Shotgun Dave, for your dedication and countless hours of service to the membership of SRC.
A memorial service for Mr. Valandra will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 18th at St. Stephens Episcopal Church which is located at 5720 S Perry in Spokane. All are invited to attend the service in celebration of Mr. Valandra’s life and legacy.
