Our (apparently) annual lever action match is set for 6 January 2024. You do NOT need to bring a lever action to shoot in this one. It’s strictly for fun, so bring whatever you want. Cast bullets, jacketed, bolt actions, semi autos—if it’s legal to shoot at SRC it’s welcome. Shooting will start promptly at 09:00. The gates open at 07:00. Completion of a Tech Data Sheet will be required prior to the match. Sheets will be available on match day, or you may request one via email on or before 4 January 2024.
This will be a 60 round match with unlimited sighters within time limits. Course of fire will be 5 shot groups (4 targets, 20 rounds), ten shot groups (2 targets, 20 rounds), and twenty shots for score on two targets. Cost for this match will be $10.00.
The weather forecast is perfect—38 degrees and snow. In 2023, we shot in heavy smoke and torrential downpour, so this should be easy.
